New Moon #7
[Spring has come to Utah. Melting snow drips constantly from cabin roofs, a steady background beat as those left behind huddle together, journals open in their laps, quills and pens at the ready. The forest is hush, as waiting with them. Miles away, several students are piling into tents after a busy day with friends. They're a long way from the woods—a long way from the ever-present sensation of anticipating what will come, of being watched, of sharing their breaths with something unseen.
After the sun's glow fades from the horizon, you open your journal to see a strange new entry. It has no name, and the heavy text looks as though it was burned into the paper. If you lean in close, you smell woodsmoke. Once again, it's the Anonymous Writer.]

ANONYMOUS POST RULES
- We're posting this early to allow all time zones to get involved before the post blows up, but please work under the assumption that the anonymous post does not actually show up until night falls!
- All comments that are made to this post are completely anonymous. There is no way to track for certain who the author is.
- Don't log out of your accounts for this. Just comment as normal, and everyone is just going to have to pretend they don't know who you are!
- Comments appear as generic black ink in a uniform font. Characters can tell where one comment ends and another begins, though.
- If your character does feel inclined to guess who the author of a particular comment is, be fair. Don't abuse OOC knowledge to out anyone. On the other hand, if your character's not good at obscuring their identity, they could be found out and that's just how the cookie crumbles. At least they'll always have plausible deniability!
- The anonymous post happens every month on the new moon. Any character who had a journal and attended Gooseberry for the past two years would know this happens. Mr. Calderon-Boot notoriously hates it.
- Have fun, let loose! If you have any concerns or questions as the post unfolds, please contact the mods.

Where are you going to go for your first dive?
Re: FAVORITE PART OF SPRING BREAK
I was thinking I'd start small. Maybe the Dead Sea? That way I'll float if I start to drown, and I won't die!
Re: FAVORITE PART OF SPRING BREAK
That's a great idea! The Dead Sea is actually a misnomer because it's impossible to die there!
Re: FAVORITE PART OF SPRING BREAK
You learn something new every day, am I right or am I right?
