DRUNK SHAKESPEARE

DRUNK SHAKESPEARE
It's a beautiful but chilly evening, so students dress warmly as they sneak down the paths to the Sorting Cave. The stars are incredible, and the darker it gets, the more stunning they are. It's truly a romantic night, perfect for a production of Romeo and Juliet.

Unfortunately, tonight's performance is going to be played by over a dozen silly teenagers, a third of whom are going to be drunk. Just before the audience arrives, the fifteen players gather together and draw straws. Five of them will draw short straws, and must take four shots of whiskey or vodka. Unless, of course, they just can't do it, in which case they may ask for a volunteer to stand in their place.
The fire is lit, borrowed costumes are put on in the (relative) privacy of the Sorting Case itself, and the show is on!
Afterwards, a number of actors and audience members lounge on the wooden seats around the fire to have a drink and socialize. Just remember, you have class in the morning! Don't go too hard!
» draw straws: All the actors gather around the mouth of the cave to see who the fates have chosen. Drink up!
» the performers: Two households, both alike in dignity, In fair Verona, where we lay our scene, From ancient grudge break to new mutiny, Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean.
» the audience: React to the interesting performances of your classmates.
» afterparty: There's an hour or so where you can hang out, have a drink, and enjoy yourself.
» OOC - Questions, comments, concerns!

HOW THIS WORKS
- At 8:30 PM the actors arrive to get in their costumes (many of which are cobbled together) and, if necessary, take their shots.
- If you were drawn to take shots, you may pass off the honor onto a volunteer.
- The show begins at 9:00 PM. Audience members do not know ahead of time who's drunk and who's not.
- After the performance, there will be a bit of social drinking and music.
- Anyone who stays past midnight is likely to get caught by Mr. Covington, but unless you specify otherwise, we'll assume everyone made it out on time.
- The actors that drew the short straws were: Ulysses Quayle, Ravi Dhaliwal, Levi Kramer, Riley Stamper, and Jade Otterwell.
THE CAST : if their name is highlighted, your character has to drink four shots before the performance begins.

Reid
and Zav
His cheeks flush when Reid almost-laughs into his shoulder. It takes him a minute to work up the courage, but Zav bites his bottom lip, scoots a bit closer, and slides his arm around behind Reid afterward.
