[VERY HASTILY AND EXCITEDLY WARDED TO EQUESTRIAN CLUB]
Horses can communicate with us by touching symbols. Can you imagine what this means for the Gooseberry stables?? We can talk with the horses! We'll know when they're cold, or sick, or hungry. Or even too hot! This is HUGE! I can't wait to show this to Mr. Covington in Equestrian tomorrow!! Does anybody want to see if we can teach the horses some symbols??

I'd never had one before and was afraid it would be all filled up with toothpaste black liquorice on the inside. But if I ever have one again I'm not opening it near anybody's laundry. It was almost a really, really gross frog.

1b. He would have rushed immediately to Mr. Covington, his eyes huge, clutching the printed papers like his life depended on it. "They can help us help them." he would have insisted, urgently. In one moment he would thrust the papers at Mr. Covington, and the next, run off to inspect the sizes of the stalls. Three minutes later, he would have come back in a near-panic, "B-but can I?" he would have pleaded, each word dripping with urgency, frantically looking back at the stalls.
2. Kurt will not be in Equestrian tomorrow and I wasn't sure where to post this since there isn't a regular EC post. Instead, he will be seen around the Junior Ribbonfin cabin, where he will look very glum. He'll be looking up drying charms in his textbooks and fruitlessly trying to dry out a History of Magic essay that had become so wet it was rendered illegible. (These details are also subject to change, but they'll be something like this. I'll update this post if it's otherwise.) He will be at the campfire party, though!

They're very popular back home. People collect the little cards inside. They go wild for the silly things. If... you want, you can tell me which one you got, and it might be a rare one. Although I'm hardly some sort of expert, so don't expect a perfect assessment of its value. And even then I'd give it to you in galleons and sickles.
