I thought I saw another me yesterday, but nobody had any complaints about my bizarre behavior, so either that was part of a weird lucid dream courtesy of our haunted sixth roommate or you just went crazy studying respectfully in the library.

I hope it was the latter.

And not just because I want to see all of you do well and raise your grade point averages.

All of her other duplicates orchestrate a complex dance routine with the hopes of winning his affections.

It'll be cute until they realize they can't all be his only date.

At least that should help to prune their numbers.

We just need to keep them in manageable numbers until graduation.

Anything that happens after that is just nature and we shouldn't interfere.

My parents would always tell me stories of Hogwarts, where the forest is populated by mysterious and dangerous creatures as well as pets that have run into the woods and embraced their feral nature.

I would like to imagine that when we return for our class reunion, we will hear stories of feral Mirabels taking up residence in the surrounding woods.

This is the legacy we leave behind.

Alternatively, she haunts next year's cabin of senior boys and it's simply out of our hands at that point. They're very handsome, I'm sure she'll be delighted by the cast of fresh faces.

Bets on her replacement Kazim?

None of them have the right temperament. Mirabel will grow restless without Kazim.

Daily. Until we manage to work out a schedule where at least one of us can be there at all times.

Nate has a point. I fully anticipate just ending up there.

It will be tough, dozing off and waking up eight hours later standing in Kazim's living room.

But at least we'll never lose touch.

That might explain why burning and burying her didn't seem to work.
