Did you hear about last night's commotion? Casper said he saw a large figure with antlers on the ground and agents standing around them. Mackenzie and Phoebe also know. I don't know how much further we want that bit of information to go [...] I think some people will be upset. What do you think?

Good morning all! As you may have heard, there was some strangeness in the woods between Ribbonfin and Ebonhide last night. While we don't have any the details right now, I think it's safe to say that this is the sort of thing that prompts curiosity from the student body. So, preemptively, let's all be vigilant and watch out for people who might want to do their own investigating. Safety is our top priority!

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to get with Ferdie and I. We'll help to the best of our abilities.

Just so we're all in the loop, a student who was out last night saw what they believe was a large, antlered figure, on the ground, surrounded by MACUSA agents. We don't know what was happening beyond that. I want you all to be aware, in case someone reports having seen something similar and this information gets out to the greater student body. But I think it's easy to draw certain conclusions about what was going on and that's [...] easy to panic over.

What do we know about last night?

There was a spell fight in the forest between the Ribbonfin and Ebonhide camps involving MACUSA, who turned us away and claimed that nothing happened when we went to investigate.

Director Grimshaw. Works for MACUSA(?) Ira heard him arguing with a teacher today and he "dropped the keeping the kids safe card."

I'm doing readings but I keep getting the feeling that... old people will be making an appearance on the 6th. I'm not sure what that means, but I don't think it's our parents.

Just a week before exams start. I hope everyone's got their priorities in order. Speaking of, are any seniors looking to put together some study groups? I'm planning to live in the library between now and then anyway, but working through the material as a group always helps to put things in a different perspective and it can be a nice change of pace!

Oh. And I'll be keeping up my normal teaching hours for Hermeticism but if anyone needs additional time, just let me know. I've got eight other classes to study for but I want you all to do well and I'll be flexible with you if you can be flexible with me.
