As things stand, the upcoming dance will be proceeding as planned. All newly implemented security procedures will be in place that evening and the dance will be contained to the interior of the lodge. There's no more risk inherent in attending the dance than there is in attending classes. I do hope everyone still attends and enjoys themselves throughout the evening. If circumstances change and staff feels it's necessary to cancel the dance, an announcement will be made.

There's still roughly a week to place your flower delivery orders. Any students who would prefer not to receive deliveries may opt-out via a sign-up sheet. Any flowers ordered for students who've opted out will instead be donated to a hospital in nearby Logan.

On a personal note, one of our newer forest friends thought it would be amusing to cause a ruckus in the lodge last week using my voice. Please disregard anything you may have heard. That wasn't me.

Hey you guys you know what's WAY COOLER than endangering yourself by climbing up a tree that's probably only ornery because people climb up it every year on a super cold day and tie stuff to it's branches??

Running a sick obstacle course to prove your love and affection for your friends and significant others. Because nothing says, "I think you're neat" like running across a log trying to dodge Cupid's arrows.

This Saturday, we've got a big event planned with lots of food and music and some fun prizes for our best runs. Special thanks to my darlings in Event Committee for helping us to bring this together. Be there and not at the ornery oak because if I catch any of you climbing that tree I will throw you farther than it ever could and you will land in a jail cell and the hatch will swing shut behind you, like we live in a cartoon.
