Though Asher is by no means required to be sober or responsible tonight, he's making an attempt at both - he's currently nursing a bottle of beer that he's promised himself will be the only one he has. As he does this he's also idly keeping an eye on the other students, not feeling particularly worried but unable to keep the sliver of nervousness away. They really probably shouldn't be out here, but... there would be a party whether they liked it or not. At the sight of Ravi he smiles, glad that he doesn't even have to encourage him to come sit down for a while to save him from his introspection.

"Not yet, but I'm certainly ready for them. I've got a pocket full of salt to throw at any intruders. That does work, doesn't it?" He'll share in your weak jokes, Ravi. After a little snort he begins to toy with the label on his beer bottle where it's lifting up at the corner. "How's prefect-ing going so far tonight?"
