"SMALL" NEW MOON PARTY

Diego, Levi and (poor, reluctant) Cecil open the door of their cabin after curfew to host a little New Moon party while everyone waits around to see if the Anonymous Writer comes back. Although described repeatedly as small and quiet... it's Levi and Diego running it, so who knows what'll happen.

There's distinctly less alcohol than last time, so BYOB if you want to get hammered.

• SENIOR BOYS' CABIN: Where Levi, Cecil and Diego reside. There are the standard couches and chairs, and a request to keep any private making out to the curtained study areas instead of the beds above. No one wants to pull back the curtain and find people smooching in their sheets.
  
• JUNIOR BOYS' CABIN: Much like the senior cabin, except there are much fewer senior boys in it, for anyone who'd like to avoid certain individuals.
  
• THE BALCONIES: The wraparound balconies for the Azurcrest cabins are particularly stunning, as they hang over a steep cliff and offer a beautiful view of the forests and mountains below. As a bonus, there are magical wards that will catch any drunk teenagers who fall over the railing. (Diego warns visitors not to do it for fun, though. It sets off an alarm in Merrill's room and office, and this place will be swarming with very irritated teachers. Does he know from experience, or...?)

[OOC: I'm posting this a little early so everyone can get settled into the party before the anonymous post goes up. I'm afraid there are no RNG party games planned this time, but if other players want to organize anything like that, knock yourselves out. Have fun!

Bonus mod note: I'm posting this with Diego's journal as an example that anyone can feel free to make ic/ooc posts for parties and get-togethers that characters have organized themselves. There will be more large mod-run parties in the future, but in the meantime, you can create things like this last minute impulse party at your discretion. ♥]

PREGAME WITH THE AZ JR GIRLS? You know, for the looooong walk over to the boys' club?

Diego is feeling particularly awkward and guilty about so many things regarding Cecil and Ravi. He super doesn't want to talk about it, unless that talk it a lot of effusive apologizing instead of explaining his motivations and feelings. He'll spend the beginning part of the party trying REALLY HARD to convince them to relax and have a drink. If they refuse, he'll back down and continue as normal.

If either of them cave to his charms and have a drink, he noticeably drinks less himself so he can keep an eye on both his buddies and any tiny blonde sophomores who show up. There is one sophomore in particular he's especially concerned about, and will try to make sure he at least knows where Essie is, even if she HEARTBREAKINGLY won't hang out with him.

For the record, Riley says parties are exactly what Hogwarts was missing, those stuffy Brits.

Ri is an affectionate drunk tonight (at least starting out, I MAKE NO PROMISES FOR THE WHOLE NIGHT), and she HEARTS THE SENIOR BOYS, so she keeps demanding hugs and attention. But then, just as she seems super into this convo, she fucks off like a stray cat.

She's also probably going to try to get someone to boost her onto the roof of their cabin later and then refuse to come down.

Anuhea came with Ravi after curfew. She was not really drinking she might have nursed one over the course of the evening. But she spent most of her night in the Senior Boys' cabin.

Not gonna lie she is enjoying watching Diego attempt to convince Ravi and Cecil to drink. She is curious if he will succeed.

Essie spends most of her free time on Friday shooting dirty looks at the Senior Boys' Cabin. WHY did the first party she was ever invited to have to be hosted by DIEGO? This is super not cool, especially now that she's been avoiding him EVEN WORSE after what was clearly a horrible lapse in judgement.

But she wants to go. OH, how she wants to go. But she'll just be the cute novelty little sister, right? UGH. More dirty looks.

Ursula makes it her business to keep on top of ALL the Gooseberry happenings, so when she spies Ravi and Anuhea preparing to sneak out, she is VERY PREPARED to pester any available Ribbonfins to make their way with her to the Azurcrest camp.

Who cares if she wasn't invited? Clearly her invitation simply got lost in the post.

Ravi is... bemused that this "small quiet cabin party" has apparently spread to two cabins and the surrounding area by the time he and Anuhea arrive, but they walked all the way here, so they might as well stay.

He makes a point of (jokingly) giving Diego a hard time about getting "carried away," but relents when it becomes apparent that Diego really does feel really, really bad about it. There's a lot of "Diego, it's fine, really" coming out of Ravi's mouth, although he does look over to Cecil sometimes to see how the Head Boy is handling Levi and Diego's enthusiasm.

In any case, Ravi kindly but firmly refuses all offers of alcohol, and tries to help Cecil out by keeping an eye on things and controlling the chaos. Especially if any younger Ribbonfins show up, then Ravi is sheepish but will not be dissuaded from big brother fussing over them.

You know there was a lot of getting ready, throwing outfits all over the floor, like five different perfumes in the air, and "oh my god, I am so jealous of your [insert body part or piece of clothing here], I hate you so much right now." Because a "small get-together" is STILL A PARTY and they need to look FINE AS HELL for it.

Katya happily drinks out of her own stash which she shares around when asked but seems to be doing the same general thing that Riley does which is literally get super interested in something and then disappear for a little bit and return fully invested in this again.

She might smell of smoke each time she reappears. With snacks.
