Chloe is trying so hard to be a good companion for Kurt, even though his grandparents have already decided she isn't (and replaced her with a more suitable one) and his dad has assured her that she is (then asks how her dad is doing, despite the fact that he seems to know more than she does, since they're pals now???).

So, while Kurt is occupied, Chloe does her best to... mingle? Schmooze?? This is really something that her mom is better at, so she tries pretending to be her mom. It... doesn't really work.

Luckily, Chloe ends up talking to the representative from Nebraska, who, it turns out, is really into Star Trek. Chloe's relieved to find someone to talk to about something she at least kind of knows about. Or maybe not so luckily, because she realizes she's kind of trapped, and there are a lot of episodes to talk through with this sixty year old man...
