Casey didn't say "thank you" to Rafael for the duties... or at least, not in so many words. Or in any words. Okay, fine, he didn't thank Rafael for the station at all.

But for the rest of the semester, the senior may notice that sometimes Casey's the first to barre and the studio's already set up for his classes (yes, it's early, but Casey can bound enthusiastically to the lodge faster than him). He's also among the first to begin cleanup when they conclude and insists on being the last to leave. In theory this gives Rafael a bit of a break, but Casey doesn't mention it, he just says "Whatever, like, go, I've got this shit." If pressed, "What, you don't think I've got this shit? I've got it, get lost."

So, like, thanks bro.
