Jeremy wasn't hungover because he didn't do dead drunk anymore. Last night at the party Jeremy had honestly just been looking to forget and have some harmless fun for a bit. So he cut himself some slack about waking up early and heading to the library this morning. He was still awake enough by the time he saw Vee's privately warded message on the journals though. And that surprised him.
He had seen Vee at the party last night. And while she looked like she was having a bit of fun for once, it also hadn't seemed like she had been ready to talk to him at all. So this was surprising, but not entirely impossible.
The quick back and forth commenting on the journal put Jeremy in a well enough mood. It seemed that Vee was finally willing to talk to him and perhaps put things behind them. Feeling better and lighter than he had in a long while, Jeremy pulled on a tee quickly (as tempting as it was to just walk out to greet Vee in just jeans) and went outside to find the girl.
He grabbed a bottle of water on the way out just like he'd promised.
"Hey," he greeted with a helpless smile as he saw her waiting outside for him. He handed her the bottled water. "Here. You're looking happy today. Practice went well?"
