Jeremy had been sleeping in this morning that he didn't necessarily make all the connections behind what was going on in the school just yet. He was just simply happy for once to see Vee being all smiles at him. It was unfortunately ridiculously easy to believe that things could miraculously just be easier on you for one day.

He wound his arms around her small waist to hold her, instinctively, before he even realised what was wrong with this picture. That was how natural it was to him, owing to almost a year of this being almost their routine.

But unfortunately, Jeremy himself had no excuse of a magical malady that would wipe away his memories, no matter how convenient that would be.

As her lips landed on his and his body remembered how good it felt to just hold her, parts of his mind were also going off, reminding him with alarm his sense of something's not quite right that had occurred to him when he saw his journal this morning.

He pulled back carefully. Still smiling, but now that smile didn't quite reach his eyes. "Vee, what's this about?"
