Kazim isn't the most competitive person; in heat of the moment, sure, but as soon as he's removed from the game he's back to his normal self. He did what he was told to do (watch for Zoey) and he thought he did an admirable job of it, especially with the pouring rain and Ribbonfin's notorious pack of chasers. Buuut he can tell his friends are bummed and he wants to pummel Delgado a bit more than 'a little,' so he'll reciprocate the commiserative hugs and be a team player despite looking unfazed about the whole thing.
