RULES

• Kissing Day is the day before the summer solstice! It's considered good luck to get kissed today, and bad luck and a year of loneliness if you don't get a kiss, or if the object of your affection refuses a kiss from you.


• The melodrama of what it means if you don't get the right kiss can vary, so feel free to have your characters be incredibly melodramatic or extremely exasperated over this superstition.


• Simply comment with your character's name and form below, and then respond to others who have posted their characters!


• Some students may be under the impression that more kissing = more luck. Will anything special happen if you collect the most kisses? (... probably not, but you'll sure feel loved.)

Takeru pretends to be very shocked, but it quickly turns into a broad grin. "Just the Gemini I was looking for!" This is a very lucky match, and Takeru is pretty confident that this smooch will actually also increase the luck of everyone around them.

He taps his own cheek expectantly, but is totally going to turn his head at the last minute and catch Laurel in an actual kiss. Like a cad.

Clem gives Vee a cheek kiss every time she sees her today. It's gratuitous, but she figures they need the good luck if they wanna win the Quidditch cup again next year.

Addy gets a kiss from Clem, of course! Afterwards she links arms with her to walk her to wherever she's headed and ducks her head closer. "Anything weird happen with those pictures?" she asks, using that kind of wink-wink-nudge-nudge emphasis on the word pictures. Hopefully nobody's listening in on this conversation.

"Almost sufficiently," Lucas says as he shuts his Nintendo DS and pivots to face Bash, elbow on the table, cheek resting heavily on the heel of his hand. "I'm not convinced this isn't some new disease." His brain is a little fried from all these tests. There's a smile spreading across his face as he looks Bash up and down. And the back of his neck is already feeling too warm. Okay, he honestly wasn't sure after that Hermeticism final, but there's definitely enough unreserved brain power left to feel embarrassed at himself.

He clears his throat and gestures at Bash's hair. "Did you get assaulted by Charlie, too?"

Sometime mid-afternoon, Clem is also lounging around with Buttons, and when Ennis passes with Lady Cecilia she gives the rats a chance to touch noses. Even our little rodent friends need good luck every now and then!
