Rafael's steel heart melted a little at the sight of those things. Look at them. Makes you feel bad eating them. EVEN RAFAEL CAN APPRECIATE CUTE.

He would have offered to share with Wes, and maybe even Robin for that knock knock joke.

Later today he's going to find Cecil to thank him in person. Which will probably turn into another round of insisting he's so totally handling it... but Cecil's support means a lot to him anyway.

Cecil is happy that the gift seems to have gone over well and assures Rafael playfully that, someday, he'll figure out how to make fox conchas instead. He accepts the other boy's reassurance that he's totally handling it without argument, though he's still feeling pretty protective of his friend right at the moment and silently hopes he doesn't have to handle anything else.
