It's been hard for Kurt to wrap his mind around the news that a third of the school just up and disappeared into the forest in the middle of the night. His friends were placed in probably mortal danger. They've been assured that everyone's alright and yes, of course he believes the adults, but he knows he'd feel better if he could see them? Maybe if he could wave 'hi'? Or hug them?
He scans the Atrium for a familiar face. He's trying really hard not to worry. Really. But if he could find Chloe, or Ferdie, or Ursula, or Ennis, or Kenzie right now? He thinks he'd feel a LOT better.
Okay, maybe, right now, before he finds the friends that he's SURE are hale and hearty, he needs to, um, catch a certain loose niffler before it makes it into one of the Healers' bags. Kurt takes off after his familiar, squeezing between parties always with an apologetic "S-sorry!", but in the end, with little control over whom he may or may not run.
