"Gimme a sec." It's hard to look pensive when you're laughing, but Lucas has a go at it, anyway. Gazing off into the distance, corners of his mouth twitching, he does his best to look earnest as he considers Bash's questions. It takes considerable effort, and the more he thinks about it, the harder it is to not grin or giggle.
After a moment of not-so-quiet meditation, he makes his revelation, like a really shitty oracle, but one that's confident that this is the right choice: "Diners, Drive Ins and Dives DVD box set."
"Then, the thank you note writes itself," he adds, swinging their hands back and forth. Now, he notices the special attention Bash is paying to his face. Lucas opens his mouth to go on, lips tugged into a smirk, but his head goes blank, and it takes him more than a beat to come up with anything to fill the gap. "I, um, think."
