"It's not that. Only..." Ravi stops himself from laying out the reasonable, rational arguments for why it would be a bad idea. Diego's not an idiot; he already knows what they are. What would be the harm of romance? Of rushing into something impractical just because you're young and in love? Why does Ravi always have to be practical?

After you've sorted out things with your family. After we've decided whether we want to live in New Jersey or Utah or somewhere else, after I've figured out what kind of doctor I'll be and you've figured out what will go on your first solo album and we've both figured out whether or not we can stand waking up to each other every day for more than a year." Ravi smiles, and touches Diego's hair. "I'll look forward to it."
