So I was walking to the Main Lodge on Goosey Trail I saw what looked like a trail of blood. Kind of startling right. Well, I got Mrs. O’Hare and she cleaned up saying definitely not blood. Now I know she should know. But was she just saying that in light of everything going on recently? Or definitely not blood. I am hoping latter.

Right! I am not sure what to think. If this is some elaborate joke it has gone too far.

Was it leading... to or from Ribbonfin? Could you tell?

Well, the trail looked like dragging out of the water. Then it just ended up disappearing after a few feet.

I have a feeling it's going to go a lot further. Unfortunately. Halloween's too far away and this was too subtle to be anything other than atmosphere-building.

I trust Mrs. O'Hare. She probably just didn't want that fake blood to contaminate the lake and poison the animals who live in it. ~~Probably?~~

That's... odd. I can't think of anything that would cause that to naturally occur, but then, I'm not in Magizoology.

Did she happen to say what it was if it was not actually blood?

If Mrs. O'Hare said it wasn't blood, I don't think it was blood. Isn't it more likely that the same person who dressed up in the mask to scare Vee and Clem is just trying to mess with us some more? ~~I mean, probably?~~

No panicking! This just makes it more obvious it's a joke. What would be dragging itself out of the lake? The "Killer" that someone saw standing upright and not dragging themselves along? ~~Unless the idea is that a person or animal got hurt by the--~~

I wish I could have seen the blood trail, though. I'm curious what it was actually made of. You said it looked like something was being dragged out of the lake? That's a pretty ~~great~~ creepy touch.

Or all the staff are part of a coverup because they don't want us poking around for the truth.

Maybe Goosey got hurt and slithered on outta there. Or maybe Goosey's dinner got away.

I highly doubt our teachers are involved in a murderous cover-up.

Luckily for all of us, Goosey prefers the taste of freshmen. Way more tender.

YES THIS IS WHAT I WAS SAYING. OUR TEACHERS ARE TOTALLY INVOLVED IN A MURDEROUS COVER-UP.

They had the BEST of intentions. All they wanted was to PROTECT their students. But when ADULTS GO TOO FAR..... the STUDENTS will be the ones who suffer the CONSEQUENCES.

That's what they want us to think.
