She deserved the cold shoulder, but she was really grateful she wasn't getting it. Honestly it was just supposed to be a stupid prank. Some water and silly string, nothing too awful really - maybe it was a bit overdone now that she was thinking more clearly. Still, this was way worse than she had anticipated. Honestly, she was just glad that the Ribbonfin's didn't seem like they hated Violet or Concordia at the moment.
She knew it had to be a joke, but it certainly didn't feel that way. What was he playing at, being out after curfew and scaring the daylights out of Violet and Cordi? Or maybe that was the point - scaring the kids who were out of bed late. Maybe it was a misguided Prefect or something, trying to get this lot of troublemakers to take their warnings and precautions seriously. Still, that seemed far-fetched. Grace was sure it was a joke, and though Concordia was poised to argue -- Rosy came in.
It was like being scolded by her mother or something. She wasn't even in trouble with Rosy yet but the Stoker's reputations - both of them - proceeded them. Concordia basically made herself really small, hoping to just be passed over entirely but that wasn't going to happen. She sighed, ready to supply details. "There's not much to tell." She said, looking at Violet for a second before turning back to Rosy. "We were leaving here after - you know - setting up..." She paused. "Sorry." She added quickly, before going on.
"We were like, just coming off the path when we looked towards the trees and saw someone. Couldn't see who it was, probably definitely a guy though based on build and the laugh. They were totally holding a knife -" No confirmation but in her head that was PURE FACT now, "And then he sort of laughed and we took off running back here."
