The idea of camping as a bonding activity doesn't bother Carolina as much as it might bother some of her peers. She likes being outside, likes being with her friends, and pretty much finds it one of the best activities she can remember to date. There's a brief feeling of disappointment that moves through her when she hears the tent assignments, but not because she has anything against Violet. It's more being disappointed she's not with any of her friends. No big deal, though.
Of course she recognizes the other girl from the prank-gone-wrong, which makes her stomach sink a little. Carolina wasn't upset by the whole thing, not the same way her roommates were at least. She only had an issue when she thought spiders were going to crawl all over her for the entire night. Still, it's a bit awkward to think of sharing a tent with the other girl. She doesn't know if Violet is mad that everything went so wrong, and she's not quite sure what to say to her. Still, Carolina is nothing if not laid back and polite, so she gives a smile when her tent-mate approaches.
"I do, don't worry," she reassures Violet with a smile. "I can show you if you want to learn, but I don't mind doing it either."
