This quip, clever as it definitely is, is wasted on Casper. His music is already back on and blasting into his ears so he never even hears it. Still, that doesn't keep him from feeling Casey's eyes on him just a minute or two later or from being aware of the other boy's restless shifting. Against his better judgment, he looks up and his eyes meet Casey's and he pauses his music again.

"What, Patterson?"
