Ramon, who is lying on his back reading, barely moves his eyes from the page to look between Lucas and Bash as the latter offers to take the former's familiar. He finds the other boys nice enough, though he's still confused by the fact that they haven't tried to kick him out once yet. Don't they realize what an opportunity this is? Even if there are teachers around and the tents don't afford them that much privacy, it's still something. But, it's not his problem. He'd done his best to give them space earlier.
