I'm sorry to have caused such a problem with something that was apparently just a stupid prank. I'm okay now sort of, I hope everyone else is too.

It was just a stupid prank and I blew it up with extreme Russian panic. I can feel bad about that.

Not really. I'm in a bed fort in my cabin. I don't have to go back to classes until Thursday but I feel better knowing it was just a prank but I feel awful for how all of this turned out with extra rules and everyone in trouble and basically causing a riot sort of thing last night.

There's nothing to be sorry for, Katya. The moment he started chasing you across campus with a knife was the moment it was no longer a prank. It went too far. It's over now. If it had just been brushed under the rug and the staff were never involved, it may have continued on and been some other girl.

Not really the right thing. I'm in DADA I should be prepared for this sort of thing. I should have thought instead of panic. What if something happens to me outside of school and I have to defend myself, I clearly can't.

I just feel miserable all around.

Oh, hun, I'm sorry. I just hope you're not feeling too bad about all the new rules. Those would have been instated eventually, anyway. A good scare can make you feel really lousy though, so take your time and feel better :(

I feel kind of responsible about them. Buddies aren't bad but it's going to be annoying that I feel guilty about it.

I have a tutor in dueling already and he's been helping me with DADA as well but I might ask her a few questions once I get settled back into things. Just trying to not think too hard about things even if that happens anyway.
