Where're we at in the tea cycle? I dunno what the moon's up to lately, since I've not studied astronomy of late. Think we're at rose-honey-holy basil. Or I am, anyway? Heart. That's what I've brewed just now, cos I'm fairly certain it was a full moon over the weekend, which means [...] Something. Sort've bleeds together since I've not heard from you (see, you aren't writing on schedule either, so you'd better not snip at me).

Gooseberry's still mental. Rain today. Forest's heavy. I put the crystal in my pocket as you requested last month, but I've not felt any effects yet. Reckon it's a bad seller? Where'd you source it anyway? No enchantments on, but sometimes these things have echoes, haven't they.

One thing: senior class is off to Paris this month, for holiday. I dunno what sort of schedule we'll have or anything, but if I've got the time and can sort out flooing I bet I could slink off and come to see you. Think that'd be better than you trying to get there yourself, yeah? Don't worry about it. If I can, I will. If I can't, it's not the time. Isn't that right? All things at their times. Nothing of concern.

Lucy's been singing a lot of that song you like, and she talks most at dusk. Think her look's a bit darker here, somehow. She's broken her habit of stealing lately, but I've yet to see if she's replaced it with something else.

And -- Cotillion. Seems a bit off -- sad, like a show gone on too long before it's even started -- but that's where I'll be this weekend. Girl says she can get me a suit. NYC. I'll puff out my chest and look handsome.

Have you spoken with Beatrice or Susan? Or anyone, actually?

How's business? Now it's colder you can bundle up and feel safe at market, if you want. No one will even look at you for having six scarves on.

I've got good marks. I like my cabinmates well enough.
