She's the perfect sad-eyed poster child for her illness.
Her updo has a vintage appeal. Her ballgown is covered in tiny silk butterflies and has a considerable train, which makes her skirt even poofier once she bustles it up (which requires the help of at least two friends). In addition to being five inches taller than her date, she's also wearing an absolutely ridiculous pair of heels. She walks in the ballgown/stiletto combination like she was born in it, though.
