"I just, um," Lucas smiles, rocking against Bash when their shoulders collide and pulling his hand closer so they can't spread too far apart. "Force of habit. Don't want to be in the way." Or, more in the way than he feels like he is, normally. "Rubbing elbows with more people here than I did at the Cotillion."
They've already been through here multiple times this weekend, but it doesn't stop Lucas from gawking at the scenery like it's the first time he's laid eyes on it. He doesn't do a great job of paying attention to where they're going, and trusts Bash to make the right turns to take them to their destination.
"That was a pretty significant design oversight," Lucas agrees, attention back on his boyfriend. "Somebody got a write up for that choice."
