How are they participating?: She definitely plans to turn a routine "going to chat with Ari" into "destroy the Ebonhide Tree." Part of her just wants to knock the entire thing over, but that plan's turned into a huge operation in which she's going to go over, try to scope out which decorations are the most valuable, and steal only those.
