Gwen was about to agree; a dance would be wonderful, but he was right about much more. They didn't know each other. She wanted to ask why he'd written the candygram, why he said he'd wanted to ask her out for some time, because what was it about her that he did like? But her conversation with Calvin made her worry that the answer wouldn't be what she expected.
"We have to start somewhere, right?" she offered, with a warm smile. "I feel like what I could come up with would be things anyone could know. I like bees," she teased, touching her mask a bit self-consciously. "I'm in Equestrian Club. Maybe...could you ask me? I'm curious what you would like to know. That could tell me about you too."
