Calvin's ready for the second kiss. He leans down to meet Micah, slow and deliberate. The warmth in his face creeps into his chest, and he only pulls away once Micah does. Fireworks, Micah says. It takes Calvin a second to place what Micah is talking about, but the lights and noise bring him back to reality. He stares blinking at the dazzling lights for a second or two, but no longer. He's seen fireworks countless times in his life, but he's only kissed Micah twice.
There's an impulse Calvin's been resisting for about a month, which he no longer needs to deny himself. Carefully, he reaches up and brushes Micah's hair out of his face. Calvin's finally smiling. "What now?"
