(no subject)

So I found my turtle Ted in my first class today. She seems okay. I mean, she's a turtle, it's hard to tell? Maybe I should get her checked out?

Thanks to everyone who helped me look for her this weekend, hopefully this doesn't happen again. I might put a blinker on her shell or something just in case. But yeah, everyone who offered to help, just wanted to say thanks.

Good news.

If she's showing any signs of abnormal behavior, I'd have her checked out. Though if you're really concerned, it wouldn't hurt to have her checked out now.

I'm sure she doesn't. Animals like to roam, it's what they do sometimes.

I have it later this afternoon. Never hurts to have a plan.

Balloon.

But I'm not sure that's how this works. Don't feed the balloon to her. Tie it to her.

Looks like she was just off on an adventure.

She was waiting for you.

I'm glad you found her!

Thank goodness she's OK! It couldn't hurt to ask Mrs O'Hare to take a look at her, could it?

I don't think there are many land jellyfish.

Somewhat doubtful, but it has happened before.

The Professor of the class might have a few ideas.

Glad you found her.

That sounds fucking terrifying. They could really be anywhere.

[identity profile] alapai.insanejournal.com 2016-09-06 12:56 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, I would imagine so. And this is why I don't have animals.

I don't blame you one bit. But I think turtle might crawl away a bit more so than say a dog. But you never know.

Sorry if you felt awkward the other day.

Holden.

That makes sense. You didn't make it awkward. Admittedly, I've been curious. But yeah just wanted to check in.

Maybe not. I'm sure they'll have some tips for pet owners.

Where do you keep her? Is it a little tank, or [...]?

[identity profile] catseyenebula.insanejournal.com 2016-09-06 03:34 am (UTC)(link)
I'm pretty sure she wouldn't eat an inflated balloon though. Hopefully.

Aw, I'm sure she just wanted to go on a little adventure!

That's wonderful news, duckling! Guess she wasn't vacationing in Mexico, after all.

[identity profile] caritasmitis.insanejournal.com 2016-09-06 09:17 pm (UTC)(link)
I dunno, I think it's a reasonable request, especially if you don't know exactly what she got up to while she was out of sight.

[identity profile] all-apologies.insanejournal.com 2016-09-09 07:08 am (UTC)(link)
That would be a weird coincidence.

How long have you had her?

Maybe she wanted to return to the wild?
