As we were kindly kindly reminded, the Valentine's Day dance is approaching quickly, along with all of the associated festivities. I've been working with Mr. Hightower and the lovely flowers being grown in the greenhouse won't be going to waste. No googly eyes for this one, so it should be relatively easy compared to the candygrams. There's a lot to be done in the next few weeks, though.

If anyone has theme ideas for the dance, let's hear them. Our current frontrunner is [...] a French Revolution themed Bloody Valentine. I need to stop talking to the juniors.

Umm, what about a fairy tale theme? Or just a literary one, like, in general? Famous love stories? For the morbid, doomed couples?

Or the myth of [...] Persephone? There could be an "earth" and an "underworld" and everyone could wear togas or whatever? But like, Greek gods are done to death so maybe not.

Also, I think matchmaking with divination is cute and on trend.
