It was somewhere around the halfway point of the session that the knot in Lucas' stomach undid itself. Nauseous fear becoming uneasy caution and then, at the end, incredulity. They weren't getting the help they wanted. They weren't even getting answers, properly, were they?

By the time he's ready to go, draping an arm over Bash's shoulder, he's settled into dissatisfied. "Walk back to Azurcrest with me?" He asks. "One of the guys and I can get you back to Ebonhide before curfew."
