All kissing should start with being shoved against a door - it should just be a rule. It’s a really effective way to start things. Eve is as enthusiastic in here as she’d been out there, just an edge aggressive, but with a familiarity that made this easy. There are no nerves.

“Wait hang on,” she says, breakinng the kiss. “First I want permission to mess up your hair, but also, don’t tip over.” She put her hands on Salem’s shoulders and jumped up. Eve had pretty great upper body strength, but she didn’t need an amazing amount, trapped between Salem and the solid door. She could easily wrap her legs around Salem’s hips and let the door deal with most of her weight. “You’re just so fucking tall, like a Greek god or something.”

That was too much talking going on, so she leaned in and went back to kissing him, but this time she had her arms wrapped around his shoulders, for leverage and also because he had good shoulders too. Good stuff.
