“Nah it’s cool, I can write it down.” He pulls a pen seemingly from nowhere because he’s recently learned sleight of hand while learning card tricks and even drunk, he’s gotten really good at it. But he doesn’t carry paper on him so he reaches for Pandora’s arm. And now that he has pen to the inside of her forearm, he can’t remember all he’s said, so he just writes You are art. because that’s basically what he meant anyway. He makes the pen disappear before he writes a ps about her smile on her own arm. It’s not good penmanship. It’s large and messy and definitely in print but the letters are all connected like he almost learned cursive once.

“But yeah. Everything’s creation. Even war and destruction and the government. Even when we destroy shit, we’re still creating something else. Hey wanna see a card trick?” And now he’s holding a deck of cards as if he’d been holding them this entire time, just waiting for that perfect segue.
