Ready to pull off the heist of the century? Or at least this school year?

In the wake of the first dizzying day of Prom Court madness, posters have appeared throughout the lodge advertising an event called Let's Steal Prom! Closer inspection reveals that this isn't an anti-prom advertisement, but a new competition series sponsored by Event Committee for students seeking an alternative path to prom court membership. This year, two titles will be won by the team of students that can best a series of events to 'steal' their way onto prom court.

HOW THIS WORKS

• Characters must sign up to participate as a pair. Unlike the voting competition, teams can be made up of any gender and year composition that players want. Players are encouraged to sign up with a partner they enjoy sceneing with, be they friends, enemies, or a romantic couple.


• There is no limit on the number of characters that each player can sign up, however each character can only be a member of one team.


• Participation in this event will not affect chances of winning the voting competition and vice versa. Characters can theoretically win two titles.


• Teams will participate in 3-4 IC/OOC competitions in the weeks leading up to prom. The frequency will be at most biweekly and the first event will be scheduled for the latter half of April.


• Events will be structured similarly to the Sweetest Couple competition, but slightly scaled back. A scenario will be presented for teams to scene within and a RNG score will be awarded for up to six tags. This means that the winning team will be determined via RNG and participants can maximize their chances through activity. (While earning some easy AC! Hooray!)


• Ursula was inspired by the antics of Stewart Ocean earlier this year and events will be themed around around the idea of pulling off a heist.


• This event series is mod-approved but I'll be running it. Please bring any questions or concerns to me! The goal here is to offer some prom court antics fun that's open to all characters. The real reward is the journey, not the destination, blah blah blah. ;) If you have ideas for this event series, I'd love to hear them!
