I knowwwwww we're all distracted by this month's latest emotional trauma, but don't forget:

CAMPING TRIP TOMORROW~

Remember to pack warm clothes and insect repellent! We're going to Antelope Island, which is very buggy. You can also bring swim suits if you want. Fun fact, the Great Salt Lake has such a high salinity level (even saltier than the ocean) that floating in it is waaaaaay easy! I expect everyone in Outdoor Exploration to take a dip. Don't be cowards! ♥

And keep in mind, OE, we're going to have some green kids with us tomorrow! That's right, you can come even if you're not in OE since we'll be staying in at nice campground, which isn't exactly roughing it. You have the rest of the night to make your nerdy friends sign up soooooo get on that!

It's going to be so pretty! This guide says there are... "Bison, mule deer, pronghorn antelope, California big horn sheep, coyotes, jack rabbits, cottontail rabbits, badgers, bobcats, kangaroo rats, mice, red fox, chuckar partridge, lizards, and snakes (gopher, blue racer, garter– none of which are poisonous)."

Additional fun fact (for aspiring ornithologists): There are several bird species that're native to or migrate through Antelope Island that you won't see anywhere else in Utah! I've got a list if anyone else is interested.
