SENIOR MONTHLY BONDING

All four Heads of House are present for today's bonding activity, which is meant to determine once and for all which senior class is the most bonded. (Mr. Hightower says this is in the name of improving housemate relations, but Ms. Rhee and Mr. Merrill's whispered wagers makes it clear this is another Gooseberry competition.) Everyone is handed ten cards, upon which they'll write their answers to ten personal questions. The other members of their house must guess what they wrote down, to show how well they know each other.

Each house goes into a corner to play the game, with their respective Head of House judging their performance. For the ten students who prove that they're the closest, most bonded house in senior year, they'll win 50 house points, so make your teacher proud!

HOW THIS WORKS

• Everyone's questions and answers will be the ones posted in the bonding questionnaire from earlier. You may still post your characters' answers now if you haven't already. Everyone's questionnaires will be unscreened later Friday afternoon/evening, just to give people time to take part and guess answers.


• You may reveal your character's answers before the questionnaires are unscreened, e.g. if Sy guesses that Reid's favorite ice cream flavor is vanilla, Reid can respond by showing everyone what his card says.


• Post your character under their house heading, with their name in the subject line. Other members of the house can post to yours claiming a question, and what they guess your answer is. Claiming questions is first-come, first-serve.


• EXAMPLE: Sy posts under the "COPPERTALE" heading. Reid replies to Sy, and guesses Sy's answer to "What's my favorite color?" Regardless of whether Reid gets it right or wrong, no one else in Coppertale can get points for guessing "favorite color" for Sy (although they can respond to Reid's guess with guesses of their own).


• Every time someone posts to a housemate with a guess, right or wrong, the house gets 1 point. Each character can claim a maximum of 1 question per housemate; so each character can win up to 9 points, assuming the other nine members of their house post.


• This is meant to be an intrahouse bonding activity, but you may have your character overhear the other houses' games and/or comment on them, if you want.


• Responses will be counted until Sun, Apr 22 at 11:59 PM MT. The house that wins the final tally will win 50 house points. In the cast of a tie, we'll select the winner based on which house was the most active in the IC/OOC, i.e. most IC comments posted.

"Iliya." She slides up next to him. The card in her hand reads Who's your favorite person at school? "Do you think," a pause, "it would," another pause, "bother Ulysses if I didn't write his name?"
