Cricket arrives to Hermeticism early and leaves Wes' missing gloves on his chair. They smell faintly of the vanilla bean potpourri she keeps at the bottom of her trunk. She sits in the front row (as per usual) and doesn't turn around for the entirety of the class.

Wes walks in right before class is about to start and takes his spot at the back of the room, brushing the gloves off his chair and into his open backpack before sitting down and getting his books out.

If anyone asks he just shrugs "Let someone borrow 'em."
