Avery Breaks A Rule; Friction Edition
Senior charms students are learning the Friction-less charm today. It was only a matter of time before someone put that particular charm to less-than-good use and use it was probably definitely clearly not intended for. What was surprising was that it was Avery who was the one perpetrating such rule breaking. However, this was also the girl who chose to do Quidswap and nearly killed half the Cheer and Quidditch squads so, maybe it's not that surprising.
Deciding on making what essentially boils down to an ice skating rink but without ice, Avery enlists the help of [Volunteer A] on creating a good sized rink space and roping it off in a way that clearly signaled where the friction-less area began and ended. She puts it right outside her own cabin, and sections off the largest bit of it. [Volunteer B] is particular good with a cushioning charm, and helps Avery charm around the area so if anyone does slip out of there, they are unlikely to get hurt.
Gwen & Ennis are a little too into this and are the first to put those cushioning charms to the test - at top speed they fly out of the friction-less zone, into the cushioning charm, and then back into the friction-less zone. They ping pong like this three times before their momentum slows enough for them to actually stop. Honestly, it's really quite impressive and gets at least two or three students attempting to recreate that.
Generally, it's just a good time and Avery is really glad only one of the events she's held in her Gooseberry career will go down as being a bloodbath... right?
Afterwards, there's going to be some snacks and whatever for a little Monday night 'party' once the rink gets taken down.

HOW THIS WORKS
- There's basically an ice-skating rink sized area outside of Ribbonfin's Senior Girls cabins right now where you can slide around like there's nothin' holdin' you back.
- Avery asks some of the students in Pre-Healer studies to be on stand-by in case anyone does get hurt.
- Please don't die, she doesn't want to be banned from doing events k?
- Use the form below to roll for injuries ONLY IF you are ok with an injury. :D IT'S GOING TO BE WAY WAY WAY MORE DIFFICULT OK. Scores are 1-10. 7 is mild injury, 8 is kinda ouch, 10 is you done fucked up.
