A BEAR PROMPOSAL

Dinah, Nisha, Marie, and Tally appear in the atrium first, dressed in bear onesies and cornering Iliya before he can escape. Cameron appears shortly after, in a plum and gold version of Elvis Presley’s costume from Loving You, acoustic guitar in hand. As promised, Cameron gave Iliya a warning for when he could expect this "surprise" promposal, even as Cameron spent the last week obviously trying to throw him off the scent by carrying around strange objects and acting cheerfully suspicious. Or at least, that's what Iliya hoped his boyfriend was doing. He didn't know why a promposal needed so many props.

So when he notices the girls in bear onesies as he's leaving the Atrium after class, he pay it too much mind... until they're obviously converging on him, at which point Iliya thinks, Oh fucking hell. And then there's Cameron. And then there's a bloody serenade.

It should've been a nightmare. Iliya feels embarrassed heat flood his face, and he covers his mouth with one hand as he watches Cameron play, accompanied by sweetly singing sophomore girls. But despite himself, Iliya starts smiling. It's impossible not to, while listening to a performance by handsome, talented Cameron Carney.

"You are... ridiculous," Iliya tells him when the song ends. But he walks over and kisses him on the cheek, before half-hiding his face against Cameron's shoulder.
