FINAL DEPARTURE PARTY

It's the last day of final exams, and Jade decided to do something nice for the departing seniors, namely, host the Big Birds Bye Bye Party FOR them. And then she had to modify it slightly, because of recent events. The theme is still loudly proclaimed on a banner: FINAL DEPARTURE PARTY! However, it looks like maybe scary ghosts were scraped off, and happy ones painted on. Jade had also decorated a mannequin in the likeness of each of the Azurcrest seniors' corpses. Their features have been painted over and a sheet with smiles have been draped over each. They're still propped around the area, which is about half intentionally unnerving.

The party is outdoors, near the lodge, by the lake. It looks a little like a children's Halloween party, only it's June. Lines of jack'o'lanterns glow with magical flames. Some are cats. A long, enclosed slip'n'slide promises splashes and (reasonable) spooks. Orange streamers criss-cross between trees. Decorations heavily feature spider webs in trees, a little patch of gravestones with awful puns instead of names, and tissue paper ghosts charmed to float around above everyone's head. The soundtrack vascillates wildly between themes to horror movies and summer jams when that gets too spooky. This is what happens when Jade tries to be kind.

BLAH BLAH...

• This takes place at about 4pm, between classes and dinner!

• To better equip them for the terror slide, and since it's their party, Jade's giving each senior a ghost swim cap to signify that they're not long for this mortal realm

» Before the Party: Jade will enlist whoever wants to help substitute hooks from random trees and swarms of spiders for more gentle decorations. Help her.

» SPOOKY SLIP'N'SLIDE: The long slide stretches along the grass, down a long incline. It's an enclosed tube, all black, with flaps in the sides and freshmen along those flaps. They're dressed all in black and not a part of this. Ignore them, and launch yourself into the entrance, if you dare. The interior of the slide is dimly lit, and there are cotton spider webs on the walls. The water's orange. It's unclear why, but that's kind of thematic. At the end, you emerge back into sunlight. The longer you’re in, the more spooks you’ll face! There’s a veritable treasure trove of Charms traps that Jade’s set up inside. Little pockets in the walls open, too, so that items not in the slide before can be introduced by loyal EC freshmen. Get out quick. Get out alive.

» SPOOKY SNACKS: Several picnic tables are set up with a lot of cute summery Halloween treats including Jade's take on blood pops, candy corn popsicles and spooky ice-cream floats.
» PUMPKIN GUT WATER BALLOONS This isn't an official RNG contests since we just HAD one of those, but there's several buckets full of pumpkin-shaped water balloons that spout orange goo upon being thrown. This is a cordoned off area. Post here to scene fights with your friends and unsuspecting victims!

» BLOODY BONFIRE!: A friendly little fire that doesn't even look like it's going to jump up and burn you anymore. There's s'mores ingredients available but Jade forgot to charm the marshmallows to NOT turn red and thus kind of bloody when exposed to heat so like. Eat at your own risk.
» TERROR BY LAKE GOOSEBERRY: Actually the only terror is you, and this weird icecream. This is just for hanging out.
» SCARY SHITPOSTING Muah.
