So, I had a weird conversation with Thorn, who had a weird conversation with Elmasry, and I guess I'm going to announce some stuff. Which I know is hilarious, me being trusted with announcements. A lack of qualifications can't slow me down, though. Anyway, here we go, get ready for a list.

• Getting those Christmas trees! The traditional thing where we ride out on horses and cut down some trees for the Lodge is going to be happening again next month! Equestrian Club can get in on it, too. Weekend overnight in the snow, you all know how it goes.


• LARP outreach? Apparently certain people have been acting curious about the mysterious and esoteric life of Live Action Role Players. So, because of this, I guess Thorn and Elmasry are going to see about January or February's camping trip including LARP? Like, ages ago we talked about this, Levi, and now it's happening! You should go talk to Thorn if you have any ideas about what to do when we take all you nerds out into the real woods.


• What goes on in LARP anyway? Are you all still kissing one another? I bet you are. Scandalous.

So, how was my delivery? Good use of bullet points? Solid highlighter choice?

• DELIVERY. Too casual and also UNBELIEVABLY UNINFORMATIVE??? "You all know how it goes"?? SOME PEOPLE DON'T, DIEGO. Also that last point doesn't even QUALIFY as an announcement, it's just you trying to tease people. AGAIN.


• BULLET POINTS. The ACTUAL bullet points could've been more INTERESTING. Black dots are BORING and lack PERSONALITY.


• HIGHLIGHTER CHOICE. ...that shade of blue isn't THE WORST THING I've ever seen.

• I wanted to keep it loose and approachable! It suits my free and easy style, and the lack of detail shows I have a lot of faith in my audience! (And yeah I totally want to tease them, it's fun.)

Oh, yeah, definitely. The only time I've ever LARPed, Ravi someone made out with me. But only after, like, professing love and dedication. It was quite gallant.

You know, Diego, there are many things which happen in LARP other than romantic storylines.

Anyway, don't get too excited just yet about this possible OE/LARP camping trip. The challenge will be finding a way to make this fun for everyone, instead of LARPers complaining about having to camp and campers complaining about having to LARP.

I don't know. It'll probably be optional, but it might be fun, too. I'm just giving them a hard time about the kissing, if that's what's making you nervous. It doesn't actually happen like that.
