Katy takes the awesome present, thanks the freshman post and rushes over to Zeke. " I promise to not try and summon an old god while at school. Even if it would be so awesome. Thank you sooo much. I've got my nightly reading for awhile now."
Zeke laughs. "I'm glad you like it. And maybe not an Elder God, but you definitely need to try a Shoggoth." Zeke hugs Katy and kisses her cheek. "And a birthday kiss just in case you get stuck in the mistletoe."
"Shoggoth! I will try my best and try to come get you if I do." That seemed like a good idea, right? "Oh gosh I escaped all yesterday. I hope my luck stays with me. Don't you dare get caught either!"
"Yes!" They both knew it was mostly a work of fiction, but then Zeke figured Lovecraft was a wizard who specialized in magical sea beasts. "I got stuck once yesterday, saved a bunch of people. I'm a lucky person, but I might go looking to get myself stuck just for the amusement of it all."
"Don't you die out there! Mistletoe deaths are on the rise this year and I need all of my fellow followers of the old ways with me if we are going to summon Byakhees for all of us to ride on into the night? Got to be safer than brooms right?" Because summoning old terrifying things from a book was clearly the way to go when someone needed to get to point a to point b.
