It's alright. I know it's hard to resist, with all of this open wilderness around, but... you know how I worry too much. Maybe I'm overreacting again.

You mean the video, right? Not the one from the movie, but when it just became... forest. I don't know why, but I watched it on my phone for almost thirty minutes this morning.

Thank you, Z. I mean, no one's broken any rules, it's just... every time I see someone wander out into the woods, I have this horrible vision of them getting eaten by a bear and no one figuring out what's happened to them. Which is absurd, of course. Everyone knows that if something's going to eat us, it'll be a mountain lion, not a bear.

This school's always been a little weird, but lately... I don't know. It never used to be this often.

It's as though I was expecting for something to happen, but nothing did. And then I keep wondering if something would've if it just stayed up longer and... it's crazy. For all we know, it was five seconds of video on loop.

I know. I don't know what to make of it either. I mean, of course there's something sharing the forest with us. That was never in question. But... the teachers don't know why we were locked in our cabins, and it happened to everyone, so... let's say it wasn't a student prank. Then what does it mean? Something locked us in our cabins. And then something visited the Ebonhide junior boys' cabin and asked to be let in.

I wish the teachers would acknowledge all of this more candidly. I don't understand why some statement can't be made, unless it's -- something that needs to be protected? Something they wouldn't want the wider world or MACUSA to know about? Maybe it would affect the school. I don't know.
