I know you don't want to hear (or read) this but you can't fix everything that you want to, not alone, no matter how much you try or care for your friends. Something you probably don't want to read #2: ask for help. Please. Other Prefects, friends, staff, whoever. And I don't just mean with the myriad issues your cabinmates have to offer, I mean that you need to remember to help yourself once in a while and letting others give you a hand with that is not a weakness. If anything, it's a strength. Otherwise you're going to keep twisting in on yourself until you can't move anymore and you'll, I don't know, snap, or something. It's not healthy, Raf.

Is there anything I can do? Chris and I made an agreement on Friday that he wouldn't act out for a week and he's been making an [...] admirable attempt of it. What do you mean b What you wrote about Ty sounds cryptic but I won't make you tell me more than he'd want. I'm seeing him tomorrow, though, should I ask him about it?

You are right, I did not want to read any of that. [...] But you might be right about some other things to. I will think about it. I promise. This is not me deflecting, I just have to focus on Ricardo and making sure he doesn't ruin my new relationsh offend any of my friends too badly.

I have noticed he's been quieter. I know these things are temporary, but... if you could do anything for me, it would be to help with Ty. You can ask him about his parents visiting, and he will tell you if he wants to. But I know you make him very happy, and he'd value your company. Give him somewhere else to be if he needs it.

Good. I'm genuinely relieved to know that, Raf. If things get dire this weekend you can always turn him in my direction and give him a gentle push; aside from losing my title as His Most Beloved Wedding Guest, I haven't got much to lose from it, and I really think I've improved my verbal sparring skills since he graduated; I'd love to give him a demonstration. [...] But you're probably not after a fight, are you. My skills also include glowering in his general direction, if it helps.

How do you k I'm on it. As of this moment, Ty and I are officially partnered for a 'Transfiguration group project' that we'll have to work really hard on this weekend. What a shame. (For the record I'll still fight Ricardo if you want me to. You could sell tickets!)
