Mr. Merrill is a goddamn treasure. You think we'll get more of the pirate treatment today? Probably not but a girl can hope, right?

It's only fair everyone gets a taste of it! Plus he seriously talked about pirates all class. Best lesson he's ever taught, and he's had some good ones!

Can't say I've ever got into space pirates, unless you count Han Solo.

I think it'll be funny to bring that pirate treatment to Transfiguration. I've never seen Rhee beat a student before, but i feel like talking to her like a pirate might have potential. So Levi should try that.

I'm not even taking transfiguration this year. That shit's way too hard.

You should just show up there anyway. I expect she'd be delighted to see you!

The only downside to this is that I'm not in Transfig so I wouldn't be able to see it happen.

I enjoyed the pirate thing! If a Prof can cut loose on occasion it really helps when things are tough.

Oh, Merrill is real good at cutting loose. Not gonna say that's my favorite thing about him, but it's up there. I can't stand a person who takes themself too damn seriously.

I just like a variety of teachers and their ways, to be honest. Otherwise I'd be bored as sin.

Plus, I feel more comfortable asking him for help than some of the others.

Well we've got a bunch to choose from so fair enough.

There any you don't feel comfortable with though? It's their JOBS to help us.

Sure it is, but don't you find some more approachable than others?

Well there's some I'd rather talk to but that's just cause I LIKE em better, not because I'm scared of the others.

I didn't say I was scared of any of them, just that some are easier to talk to when you have a problem with a class.

I don't have a problem talking to anyone.

He is one in a million and that's an understatement if anything. I never learned so much about pirates before.

You've got that right. I had a meeting with him after class and he was still at it; the accent and the eye patch and everything. He tried to teach me an 'authentic pirate chantey'.

I don't think you'll be able to take me or Mr. Merrill seriously at all if I repeat a word of it. Plus, it loses any charm it has without the melody.
