So, I'm doing some wider reading right now, and it's about three wizarding leaders in Europe in the 1300s who were all named Pedro, and all named Pedro the Cruel in various forms. Just to add to the confusion, one was also nicknamed Pedro the Great. In an extra twist of cruelty, the writer of the article hasn't given any assistance whatsoever in keeping track of them all so I'm sitting here drawing a diagram to make sense of something that may yet only be mildly helpful in my essay.

FML.

[ooc: yeah, I stole this from the Stuff You Missed in History Class podcast I'm currently listening to, so... XD]

What did they do to mark them as cruel?

Maybe they were secretly all the same person.

Is there any evidence to disprove this theory?
