First of all, good game, Captain Davenport and team! You did Ribbonfin proud. That was a long, tough match, but it was very close, and you've put us way ahead of Azurcrest and Coppertale. Please enjoy a well-deserved rest. And Captain Ogletree and squad, that was a fantastic routine. I'm astounded that you maintained your cheer for so long. ~~Tabitha, do you want to talk~~

[...] I'm on unofficial house business. Mr. Hightower tipped me off that, due to the recent thefts around school, there will be searches of cabins and lockers tomorrow. I'd like to hold onto my fervent belief that you are all innocent angelfish who have never, ever broken a rule, but in the off chance that you aren't, now might be a good time to dispose of any contraband materials you might be hiding? Let your friends in the other houses know if you must, but discreetly, please.

However, if you are responsible for some or all of these thefts, you can return the stolen items to myself, Sun-mi or another prefect, depending on whom you trust most. While these jewellery thefts are a serious crime, I don't wish to see any of your lives ruined over it. I swear that we will do our best to protect you if only you return what was taken.

Is everything going ok in prefect-land? I know everyone is on high alert because of the thefts, and with Dr. O'Hare and Agent Larke here and other...issues popping up, it's obviously been an intense month. ~~Also how are things with Diego?~~

Completely innocent, nothing to hide here. But just in case, I'm totally not going to be watching my roommates try and hide/dispose of things.

The best way to show you care is to turn a blind eye, right?

...I'm kind of concerned for the other houses, though. Somehow I feel they wouldn't be having a conversation about contraband poptarts.

I know. Not all of them get to be so care-free about this, I'm assuming.

How are you doing? Do I need to apologize for forcing you to empty your flask?

I don't blame you. I'm always here to talk if you need me. I mean, it's hard not to be worried - after Ulysses, and all the other escalating encounters... ~~I'm kind of worried for Casper the most~~ The jewelry situation is pretty confusing; I know Ariadne had a bunch of heirloom jewelry, right? Did Katya as well? Maybe there's something particular about older pieces and it was easier to take it all and shift through it later? I don't know, I'm clearly just wildly speculating, which is not great.

~~I get a letter~~ I'm fine, just trying to keep my head down so I don't let my curiosity get the better of me. Makes the whole cat thing a bit ironic, doesn't it?

As for the flask, I was wondering if you were going to call me out on that - this is why we're friends! Keeping me honest. It's not much so especially not a big deal. I will say though I love that I'm one of the problem children.

I just hope it all turns up soon. Losing something that valuable is awful, I can't imagine how they're feeling. [...] It used to be that the worst thing the forest did was some pranks. All of this just feels... off.

Alright, that's good. And... don't tell anyone, but I'm given to understand that Diego has a plan to handle all of his items. After the search is over, I'll ask if he can give you a refill.

I hope it does too. Plus, the sentimental value... It must be very tough for them. I guess ultimately though all we can do is keep looking. Whatever is going on is clearly escalating though, so I'm glad we have more attention from the staff but... I don't know. Still hard to not be nervous.

Oh man, Diego is already turning you into a rebel? Encouraging me to get into trouble, offering me alcohol... but you know, I deserve a little misbehavior since I'm normally a model roommate, right? So do you. (Just pretend like that's true.)

As long as it's not people disappearing. Is that a morbid thought? Ulysses seems fine, but... I don't know. I keep waking up and wondering if this is the day someone else gets hurt.

The scandalous extent of my "misbehaviour" is warning everyone to get rid of their drugs and alcohol when Mr. Hightower told me this information in confidence. Or perhaps he told me because he knew I'd warn everyone? I warned Diego too, you know, and he definitely has contraband to hide. The Ravi of six months ago wouldn't even recognize the Ravi of today.

Consider it a sneaky ploy on my part to endear him to you. ~~I just want all of you to like~~ Which is no longer sneaky because I've stated it outright, but that's why we're friends! You'll forgive me for my scheming.

Not morbid, just realistic. I try to be an optimist as much as I can, but... anyways, as long as we don't get complacent then at least we'll be doing all we can.

Mr. Hightower trusts you to do what you feel like is the right thing with that information - that's all that matters, right? I don't think a student has the jewelry, and even if they did I think they'd have the sense to not just hide it in their room. The point of this is the jewelry, after all, not that we're all horrible miscreants.

As for Diego... I'm never really a hard sell, but if you're going to try to bribe me I won't say no - what kind of a person does that make me? And opportunist, I guess.
