GOOSEBERRY HUNGER GAMES

Hey everyone! This year, I'll be organizing the game, which is exciting. If you can read this, you're probably going to be participating. Just a reminder, tomorrow's the last day for people to give me their names.

THE RULES
On Monday morning you're going to find a plastic butterknife in your locker with a name written on it.

The winner is the last person standing.

The winner takes home the whole prize pot.

You then have to ‘kill’ that person by prodding them gently with your knife. After they ‘die’, you then take their knife, and have to go after their target next.

You may not ‘kill’ someone while they’re naked.

You can't kill anyone while you're nude either or certain people would go on naked assassinations.

You may not ‘kill’ someone in their cabin, the bathroom, the showers, during a Grotto party, or in the cafeteria. Or in the infirmary.

You may not ‘kill’ someone in front of a teacher.

If you actually hurt the other person in your murder attempt, you’re out of the game. The person who was injured takes your knife, and it’ll be as though they killed you.

Die in a sportsmanlike way, don't be a dick about it.

If you want to argue a death wasn't fair, you have to come talk to me.

I'm excited. I'm also terrible at this game, and I'm probably going to die early at the hands of a freshman who hates my music.

Yeah, I promise. I'll try to, uh, not assign anyone someone they hate? Obviously after that it gets kind of crazy and random but might as well not start it out that way.

Just try, Diego. That's all you can do. And there's a lot of luck in a game like this; your chances are as good as anyone's! I'll be cheering for you and Levi.

And every little bit helps, honestly. So I'd appreciate that.

It's more so, like, if you're walking from the shower back to the cabin and you drop your towel no one can get you.

Diego. Do you think it's a good idea to set up a scenario where you're forcing people to pick between flashing the entire camp and losing the game? Because that's what this 'immunity in the washroom, immunity in the cabin, but not in between' thing is probably going to do.

And I'm echoing Cecil here. I hope it goes smoothly and no one gets (non-metaphorically) hurt.

Ah, yes. The time of year all of your classmates start suspiciously travelling in groups and keeping their backs to a wall while they're studying.

No no no no. I'm an aspiring Healer. Do no harm, as they say. Or perhaps more accurately, keep your murder pantomime on the stage or in the scheduled blocks for LARP, so no one's worried about getting assassinated on their way to class.

But I'm sure everyone will have fun. And I will do my best to not ruin that fun with my worry.
